we stayed up for good hour and a half blowing balloons and finishing all the wrapping thinking the kids would love to ride one of the toys we got them into a pile of balloons that santa brought! we were so excited! chirstmas morning comes and lilli see's the balloons and her only response was " What a mess" she could not understand why santa would make such a mess!

I love me a good family party with tons of junk food! we were at aunt danae's for the christmas eve party! for my cousins that were not there you were greatly missed! christmas eve is our big night in the barrett family!:) Santa comes and gives the grankids gifts and we have a white elaphant game and eat all night long! the party starts at 5 and we get home around 11! i love christmas eve!

we use this gal in lacey to do our photos of the girls its about a 1 hour drive from gig harbor so we go pretty far for her but she gives us the hole disc and we love to have a disc so we can have as many pics as we want.... we brought polo along for some pics and oh my oh my i was a sweaty mess he was all over the place panting bitting farting! it was horrible and i mean horrible bye the time it was over i just wanted to cry! i will never ever do picture and hour away with a dog and baby and a toddler with out casey again! what a DAY!

There is probably no one in the world that i would get up for at 5 but sissy! We have been running really early and really its a wonderful thing i am dressed with the girls and ready for the day by 9:00! i feel like i have so much time now in my day! it amazing how much time working out takes up i love it but its been taking my time away from the girls so this has been great! i normally workout from home and i am interrupted 17 times and finally am ready by 11 ok noon! so im loving my new 5 AM! im just a better mommy, and a cleaner wife! happy times for me and sissy!

I have yet to figure it out, why laying on a bed and taking pictures is so much fun? i could seriously lay on a bed for hours just clicking away taking pictures! Lilli loves the camera. With the amount of pics i take you would think i was a hard core scrap Booker but I'm not... I'm lucky to even put them on snap fish. Casey and i love to sit on the bed at the end of the week and just go through all the pics i take and we laugh and laugh! so here i just some from clicking around this week!

lilli wants a princess bike so bad but her brithday was in December and so was christmas rough time for her! i told casey we just need to get it from the "easter bunny" casey said we were setting the bar a little to high for the easter bunny... so lillian has to earn it. when lilli take a daiper to the daiper champ or puts her clothes away helps fold laundry or cleans up her toys has good manners she gets a marble in her jar! the jar is a quater of the way full. its been kinda of fun and she has yet to be sick of it! so princess bike here we come!

okay so janelle is to funny! we are opening lilli's birthday gifts and we get to the gift janelle and brody bought for lil lil and she opens it up and its a black barbie i cant help but laugh! i asked janelle why she would by my white child a black barbie did she not notice the barbie was black! Lilli was on the hunt for one of her many crowns in the toy room and well we couldnt find it... finally i told her i would make one. I remember that my mom use to make me crowns out of foil. she thought it was fun i dont know if she thought it was as fun as i did but she hummored me and wore it.

I probably have the best neighborhood for trick or treating. My neighbors do a haunted house... theres a neighborhood parade for the kids to march in and show off there costumes. My family comes over every year and we have dinner and root beer that has dry ice in it and give aways 6 bags of candy its crazy fun we get trick or treater until 10 at night! we all got dressed up this year exept for the guys casey told me if i get him a costume next year he will dress up fun times!

Okay so i went to hush baby which is a specailty store in the harbor it has darling dress's and clothes and hair things but its really over priced so i try to stay away far away... but i need some clips for gracies hair its at a weird length that i just cant glue a bow on anymore and its to short to wear a bam bam hair tie... so i bought these clippies there super cute and im sure there easy to make i just dont have a clue on how to do it. so i bought them. the sell for about $8.50 a clip outragouse i know! so this blog message is really for aunt debi. Aunt debi made these darling headbands you see on Gracie in the pics and she has started her out web site Cutietreasures.com. So aunt deb i need you to learn to make these clipppies so i can buy them on your web site and not at hush baby anymore!

Lilli has had a couple of rough nights! not to sure what its all about! i know she is scared of the dark and if she wakes in the middle of the night she heads straight up stairs with all of her lambies her lambies are her babies and lamb lamb is normally always in tow! As she is getting older she needs lamb lamb less and less, but in the middle of the night when she is scared lamb lamb is her best companion! i think at one point we had about 12 lambs all the same kind. All on her bed. Slowly we have gotten rid of the old ones and we haven't bought any in a long time I'm thinking we will out grow them soon but for now its cute! got to love these times the go bye fast. i cant believe we are almost 3!

yah! baby gracie is here! we couldnt be more excited! i had been having contraction since early sunday morning... and finally FINALLY early tuesday morning i went to the hospital and the kept me! hurray i was so worried i would get sent away! it was such a fun day! it was just a great party casey always at my head jess rachy and trish! i would have a vaginal brith any day over a c-section. vaginal brith is a walk in the park compared to a c-section! im recovering great! tired but everything has been pretty great. we are nursing and am bleeding and cracking trying to stay comitted! so here are some pics of our girl!

Another very long night at our house. Contractions all night 7-10min apart! in the morning i called dr. nickles office he told me to come in and see him! he tells me he wont induce until NEXT Tuesday because i had a c-section with lillian! AAAAAAAAAAA i cant have contractions like this all day long until tuesday! i have walked and walked! im dieing! WHAT DO I DO????? ADVICE? ANYONE!

The Big Report!

I'm a large lady bless my heart!

Ok... so today is supposed to be the big days that Gracie comes out. Last night at about 1:30 i woke up having strong contraction that were about 10-15 min apart i just watched them until about 4:00 in the morning... finally around 4 the became stronger and were happening every 5-7 min. i called labor and delivery and they told me to come in a get looked at not to rush but just head in. So finally around 8:30 we headed that direction. i just want to make sure that the would last i didn't want to get sent home! well what do you know the moment we got to the hospital the stopped and i got sent home! I'm dialed to a 1 and 80% effaced... i still have a bit to go! after getting home i went straight to bed i haven't slept at all. I'm still having contraction that are about 20 min apart that are really painful... so still haven't gotten good sleep! I'm just so done i wish she would come out now!

Casey and i stained/ painted the deck yesterday... we are runninging out of time with this good weather. We still feel like there is so much to do around the house before the rain heads our way. We only have gotten on deck done. we still have to stain the big one! but we had alot of fun doing it together!It doesnt feel so much like work when you are doing it together! I'm wearing casey out with all the stuff i think needs to get done before summers over and the baby comes.

On Sunday i thought we would take some belly shots since its been a while since i have posted the big tum tum! lilli wanted to be apart of the picture time! i have 12 days to go and well Dr. nickle doesnt talk like shes coming anytime soon! He even said he would make me go a week late if nessesary since i am a v-back (high risk) so i really am thinking this is going to be a late baby! I am not dilated i'm only 40% efaced (SP). I have had some contractions but nothing strong enough or long enough. i told Dr. nickle that i was a crabby lady and that i need this baby out now that my journey was done. He told me i didnt seem crabby to him and i told him thats because i was faking it! lol poor casey is a sad boy most the time he just trys to aviod me he says im not very nice! i will be the first to admit im not nice im a MEAN LADY!

Shauna and Alyssa came into town to visit... mom jess and rachy planned a shower for me! Fun times! we had a blast laughing and joking at Red Robin! We could not be more excited daddy is building the big toy, he has been working on it everynight... uncle nate, papa and jake came over to help get him a head start and now we just have to get it finished! it has only sat in the garage since march! not bad right lol! Lilli is so ready for it to be done... if she had it her way it would have been done yesterday! French Braids have never really been my thing... I went to beauty school to cut and color not braid. I have always loved two french braids on little girls and well since i dont really know how to do them lol i never have until today! I put Lilli in front of tigger and pooh and this is what we ended up with. not bad for my first time i dont think. She going to be wearing braids alot until mommy gets good:)! lucky her!

So i really never come on here and just type. I personally love to see peoples fun pics so that's why if I'm going to type something you better believe I'm going to have a pic. Well there's a first for everything...cause I'm just typing today! I have been waiting for Jessika to update her blog but she has not i was going to let her share this story with the world since she has the pics for of the adventure, but girlfriend is taking freaken forever and I'm still look at carter from June 26 somebody needs to tell her to update, really I'm so over the carter pic! Wow, anyways back to my story. Jess and i were playing at the lake on Tuesday having a fabulous time as usual we love the lake! We decided it would be fun to take the boat out. Now this is not something we would normally do without the men. We really thought we could handle it. So we are out in the lake tubing and having a great time when we decided we should turn the boat off and take the kids for a little dip to cool off. We played for a good 10 min and then it was time to tube again. I was going to pull Jess and the girls on the tube, but i couldn't get the boat to start i mean like it didn't even turn over. it was bad really bad. For those of you who have been to the lake we are down bye Simpson's in the cove forever away from the beach. No cell phone, nothing! A couple boats circling but not many. We new it was time to get in and swim and boy did we. Jess I carter(8) Ryan(7) swimming with the four other babies in the boat. We pushed and kicked after about 2 hours with the kids yelling help ( we kept telling them to stop we were so embarrassed two dumb girls we are. a good Samaritan asked us if we were messing around or if we actually need help! our legs where on fire.... it was the hardest workout i have had in months! the guy towed us back and told us we should have waved our arms for help that no one should try to do what we did. but my goodness drop our pride and ask for help we were so mordified, we just couldn't!but with how sore i am today next time i might consider it!

I cant even begin to tell you how wonderful my new cleaning team is! During the week i spend a ton of time sweeping the hard wood floor and then mopping and i hate it i mean i really really hate it, and as i get bigger and bigger with this pregnancy it just gets harder and harder for me to have a desire to even do it! so i got me some BOTS! Roomba (also know as Roy) and Scuba (just Scuba!) and i love them i mean i really really love them (lilli's a little scared of them but there growing on her), i feel like i have this power team... i will send one to the family room and the other to the kitchen and ill start cleaning the bathroom and then we all rotate! the really just make me feel so happy i feel like the understand my needs! Every women needs to invest!There a mother/wifes best friend! Yah For BOTS!

We are so excited to be going on the airplane to Hawaii!!! Lilli was such good girl, we all 3 didn't get to sit right next to each other but close enough. Casey and i were separated by the ail which was fine. Lilli watched Dora on the DVD player (that we left in the taxi after getting to Hawaii what a bummer) and colored and the took a good 2 hour nap! it was a really nice flight. Casey has to leave early for work so I'm hoping our flight home will go just as smooth without daddy! but we are having a ball!

Mothers lol... wow it was a treat. I have been on everyones blogs and heard how great there husbands where and blah blah blah! well casey sucks! lol! i hate to through him under the bus but its a true story!Saturday afternoon casey calls and says hes at target what do i want for mothers day? He said he was thinking a camera or something like that since i lost mine. i told him oh your shopping for mothers day right now at target. I told him i didnt want a camera, cause well i didnt want to spend that much. i told him it wasnt a big deal i dont need anything, really dont worry about it. Not knowing he would take me seriously... thinking he would get something a flower or card a painting from lillian and him something. Mothers day came and nothing...after church on sunday i got lillian fed and ready for nap and then went to lay down myself. he asked how my mothers day was going and i said that i was a little disappointed i thought he would do something. Make breakfast, get lilli ready for church, or nap, or feed her lunch or me lunch. I could tell he was a little embarrassed because instead of saying sorry he just got all bugged. "well you said it wasnt a big deal court my gosh." so he ended up breaking the sabath and buying a camera at target to make a long story short. Now for me mothers day isnt about a big fancy gift its about the thoughtfulness. I love my camera but I would have loved even more for Casey just to make it feel like a specail day for me.

I have officially decided that I am wife, mother and MAID and I get so tired of being the maid. I really try to stay on top of the mess, but wow with baby number 2 on the way...I'm a TIRED LADY! so this is what our toy room looks like 50% of the time and well its slowly creeping up to 60%! Yes the secret is out I am not the most prefect house keeper. I really try... if Casey had it his way our house would be clean to the touch of finger dust! Well this is the real world and not Casey's world so the toy room looks like a bomb!

It was Lillian's Very first hair cut at 2 1/2 it was time. I really tired to hold out for a long time, but i was getting to gross it was time! she loved every second of it... and held so still and felt like such a big girl. She wanted to show the world when we were done... we went over to mimi and papa's cousins where over there so it was prefect she could show off her new due! Okay so i felt like it was time to get a new bed set. In the history of our marriage we have had one of my old bedspreeds from when i was 17, not that its that old but i just felt that it was time. You see, in my head all day i have been trying to rationalize how this was a need and not a want, but lets be real it was a want! I put the bed together while Lilli was taking a nap. She just woke up and wanted a cookie and a drinky... and then where did she head with her cookie and zippy? MOMMY'S BED. i told her to freeze and that we have some new rules no food or drinks on mommy new bed. i feel awful i dont even want her to touch it. 21 Weeks! 19 to GO!

OK so its been five weeks since i have put up pics of myself. The pregnancy is good. Gracie is a kicking girl! I'm in the second trimester and i feel like I'm getting some what of a second wind. The running had to finally turn into walking at about 20 weeks, and let me say walking is so boring i mean so boring! i working threw it though. So i decided since I'm not running got to start clean eating again. I don't want to turn into the hefolump i was when i had Lillian (55lbs.)Every day is a challenge because i love me a treaty treat treat.

Yeah for sissy time! Jess and i were at moms hang out while the guys were playing halo we decided we should got to borders and get some new reading material on clean eating, so we could be re inspired. we were both having a fat day (not sure why she was having a fat day, but still love her!) So we left moms made a quick stop at my house to grab some Costco cake and then headed to up-town Gig Harbor for some serious reading material! we had so much fun we even made a friend the man In the picture was our cashier, i don't know his name so we shall call him "new friend" at borders!

So i vowed i wasnt going to find out what we are having... we have known for about 4 weeks now i just keep forgetting to tell people! we had an ultrasound at 16 weeks. I didnt want to find out but casey did he was seriously ready to fight it out in front of the ultra sound tech because he wanted to know so bad!!! Me well either way im happy i just want a healthy baby, but casey, no he wants a BOY! While being there for 1/2 hour we came to the agreement that we would have the tech put the babys gender in an envolope and we could decided later what we would do. Well of course we looked! How could we not. you cant send me with an envolope and expect me to not look! so we are having a baby GIRL! the plan is she will be baby Grace Olivia Tebbs. Today was my 20 week check. Lilli came with me! I told her we were going to hear baby Gracie's Heart beat.... when Dr. Nickle put the machine on my belly, lilli screamed "i hear her mommy i hear baby grace. Can you hear her mommy? Its baby grace! yah mommy its gracie!" Dr.Nickle and i both started laughing! there is nothing better then a moment like that! Its the first time Lillian has been excited about a baby coming to our house! i think she might be starting to understand a little bit! Its moments like that, that make me love being a mommy!

Lilli In Sponge Curlers

Lilli has never worn sponge curls and let me just say she doesnt have the hair for it... the poor girl doesnt hold curl well. The only curl the girl holds is what is in it naturally. the sponge curls lasted maybe 20 min. and the werent even very curly! i think maybe we will have to try again when i have some more time to take my time with it! 1 pack of curlers was not enough for her big old head, bless her heart!

Our Day of WALKING at The ZoO!

Wow was it a day! we went to the zoo.... with mimi, TT and Cousins! the Kids had a ball. Me i'm not so much a Zoo person, unless its like Madagascar. Yeah Madagascar i think is more my thing. why go to the zoo when you can watch Madagascar! lets just say at the zoo you do alot of walking and walking and walking and well our zoos a small zoo but i probably thought my baby in my belly was going to fall out with all the walking we were doing. We were there from about 1:30 tell 4:00 if that tells you how much walking we did! The kids loved it and its all about them anyways, we had a great time! still not a zoo person but i would do it again in a heart beat!

Sunday is my most favorite day of the week... i really look forward to it all week long, Because in our family its the day we are all together until about 7:30 sometimes later if its summer or the kids dont have school (sprin break or something)! but it just makes me so happy to be together. i love that my Lilli is with her cousins making memories like i have with my cousins! its all about the memories... every sunday we get together have dinner, and make brownie sundays! there nothing better then a brownie sunday with lots of whip creme and carmel! it makes me so happy!so yeah for sundays and of course brownie sundays! its the best treaty treat treat in the world!

Another Rainy Day In Washington!!!

I am so done today! i am so sick of the rain! we are in spring now but it sure doesnt feel like it here in washington.... we are suppost to have snow this weekend. I guess we will see if it happens, but i decided i was going to beat the rain and take the kids to the park. Well it lasted about 2o min. and we were done headed home to make hot chocolate, hot chocolate was the only way i could get the kids to leave. the only one who really cared that it was rainy was banks! He does not like the rain on his heady head head no no no!I cant wait tell summer!!! So if you are from a sunny place please send some our way!
jess and i went to target when she came to pick up the kids the have some great summer fun coming out, i like to just pretened that its just around the corner. that hole six weeks we get of sun is priceless. There is no one who appercaites the sun then someone from washington. washington people really get how wonderful it is. When it comes out the world stops! its all about the sun!

Oh fun times rachy finally got her hair colored after a much patience and frustration!You see the stories rachel was put on hair color restiction! rachy wants to be able to have blonde hair for a week and then brown the next! girlfriend like her options which makes for great hair party fun! but after so much damage you just got to stay away for some time that hair color is not forgiving from brown to blonde! with about 2 1/2 inchs of regrowth today was rachys day! bleach was coming her way! and now shes a blonde bomb shell again!:)

Lillian and Joee got a new Arora dress up at the Disney store... oh my! we put it on and took it off and put it on and took it off! there is nothing lillian loves more then dress ups and shopping shoes! she carries the shopping shoes all around the house with one pair on her feet and the other in tow just in case she needs to do a shoe change! while we were in arizona she thought it was free game she wanted to wear her dress ups out and about we did that one day and then we were over that... well mommy was over that!

We just got back from Arizona (Lilli and I) it was so much fun to go see our friends the Hartzells... joee and Lilli played and played, its to bad they have to live so far away! after getting back i have decided i have a very boring life lol and its kinda of sad! its a great life its just a little boring... we need some friends in our life! the same routine of getting up working out cleaning and finding activities for lill.... well its getting old... we need friends! i just need to stop being lazy and find someone that wants to be our friend!

Ok so its just a little belly, But i have gained it everywhere. I go to the Dr. tomorrow I'm a little nervouse I hate the scale. but I'm really trying to keep it in check. Oh there is so much to post i have been waiting for casey to get back from utah to help me upload my pics im not the best with all the technical stuff.
